Both times it gave me that washed out looking video. I dragged and dropped the media from the folder to VSDC. I clicked File > Import > and then chose the video. To be honest, I have already uninstalled VSDC, but I can confirm that I imported the same video 2 different ways. I know that's a lot but I hope it helps you understand my process a bit better. I'd just really like to skip the middleman and only use my PC to edit, so I've been trying free editing software but can't really find anything comparable to iMovie that's also free. It's a lengthy process but iMovie is fantastic and full of all the features I need. My Mac cannot read the drive in that format, so I've been taking the drive from my PS5, unloading it onto my PC and then sending it to my iCloud drive to use iMovie. Basically, I'm getting gameplay from my PS5, but the drive that holds the video has to be formatted a certain way.
